I keep trying to find the common thread of my character-- or in my narrative-- and despite the pettiness and toil that I can't seem to shake off in my adulthood, it's this: a sensuousness. To live and walk around in my skin, to touch things, when people talk to me, it's as good as you think, good enough to sustain me through all the ancillary heartbreak. It's that good.
