[2004-04-17 - 12:32 a.m.] - the new cruelty
today I have eaten my weight (140lbs) in fried chicken. I have drunk half that amount in Red Zinger, the herbal tea from the sixties made from rosehips and hibiscus flower. Needless to say, at the moment my body feels perfect. Blood-sugar normal, muscles bendy, mind sharp, libido thrumming. acne still a problem, but whatever. Mucous also still an issue, but drugs will take care of that.
. . . drugs will take care of everything. but say no to drugs.
I have unsuccessfully solicited e-mail from these people: lise, mel, doqz. they are obviously bastards who are waaay too cool for this starjammer. but that's okay! I am a rock! I am an island!
did I mention my libido was thrumming?
I'm reminded of that Steve Martin movie, LA Story, in which Patrick Stewart plays a waiter and (I think) Chevy Chase asks him if he can please stop being so mean, and Patrick Stewart replies,
"I'm afraid not, sir. It's a part of the new cruelty."
