1. I am going to the airport at six on tuesday morning. I will flyyyyy.
2. lovely crime & punishment slash story: this was my christmas present! dmitri/rodya 4ever.
3. a fellow at work, Amir, had me absolutely convinced that Mike Farrell from M*A*S*H was Will Ferrell's father, and also that Mike Farrell played Trapper John. none of that is true. am realizing that it's actually very easy to convince me ABSOLUTELY of things. it's because disbelief is an inconvenience.
Although, think about it. Will Ferrell really does bare an uncanny resemblence to Wayne Rogers (who played Trapper John). they both have the sparkly eyes and broad faces and curly hair.
4. I got a christmas spam e-mail with the subject line: jesus/jesus for children. amen! I was working on a jesus/little drummer boy fic for glockgal, but I didn't get it finished.
5. oh, toronto. you cold crazy turtle. what waits for me?
6. christmas presents make packing for toronto cumbersome, as does my deficit of strictly winter clothes. cold!
7. five is the number of man & six is the number of the beast: seven encompasses both of those and it is the number of god. when I was little I had a sense of all the numbers' personalities and interactions. five was once loud and overbearing, though it has mellowed over time (its a very old number); six tends to be rather sycophantic towards larger numbers, and also five (five is a very old number), but has a gentle, loving relationship with four. six is the direct supervisor of three, even though that is not the relationship between two and four. seven is a hip-swaggering cocky fucker and carries on a callous sexual relationship with six while courting eight.
two understands everything. thirteen I could never understand, never see clearly, like it was hidden behind mist.
