everything's going alright.

I had this dream where I was in a nice little coffee house with everyone I like. People were chatting, soft music was playing, it smelled like coffee and roses.

I'm walking across the room and I see Doqz. we wander over to each other. He nods at the exit and says,

"If you want to change the world, you have to be a common man. And if you want to be a common man, you have to go outside."

It's obvious that he's quoting something, so I laugh. I follow him out the door but the ground and street beyond the porch are covered in snow. I say, "doqz, wait, I have to get my shoes," but he keeps walking.

Later, I'm in my car and I hear the new justin timberlake single. The music starts and Justin sings, "retarded love . . is retarded love," and I think, jesus, justin. Then he sings, "If you wanna change the world, you gotta be a common man . . if you wanna be a common man then you gotta go outside." and I'm like, huh. that's where he got it.
