[2001-04-15 - 11:30 a.m.] - down like that

So, I talked to Ani DiFranco yesterday. She was in Krutch Park, sitting on a bench, walking some little kids play. Root, Dorina's sister, said to her, "would you like an orange?" and Ani replied, "thanks, but I don't like oranges." I stepped forward and said, "actually, it's a tangerine." She smiled and said, oh.

update #1 - have settled into new job. Is comfortable. The yelling out when you have a question is irritating, but requires only persistant indifference. I have long, long periods of time where nothing is going on-- need to learn how to write anywhere.

update #2 - have finished putting up all my stuff into a website format. Have no idea where to publish it, or how. It sits here.

The guy who played Rufio on Hook is now on a Sprite commercial. He raps. The last line is something like, "I'm glad it went down like that."

thought for the day: "The last thing I'd urge is to throw ourselves into battle. / How on earth can a wounded man make war?"

goal for the day: I need to learn to write anywhere.

music for the day: "Untouchable Face" and "Jukebox". Ani, Ani. Those ain't oranges.
